Bookbinding -Leather Journal Cover
Service Description
In this bookbinding workshop, we will make a pocket-sized leather journal cover. Slip sketchbooks, notebooks, planners, pockets and even your passport in and out easily with elastic straps. Perfect for keeping everything together as you travel! Customise your project to build your ideal journal cover! Choose your size: Pocket size (3.5x5.5) or B6 Slim (5x7.5). Choose your color palette - you pick the leather, elastic and book cover colors. Install up to 6 elastics, using grommets or punched holes. If you're feeling ambitious, create additional leather accessories - sewn-in pockets, pen holders or shaped foredge protectors. Finally, personalize your cover with letter stamps. Feel free to bring notebooks or pens to build your cover to accommodate, or decorative charms to add onto the spine. Basic supplies provided. Hand dexterity required - we will use knives and sewing needles. Loud hammering - earplugs recommended for sensitive folks. For students ages 16 and up. Taught by Kelsey Pike (she/her)
